The famous author Alexander Volkov's story "The Wizard of the Emerald City" was first published in 1939, which means it was read by our grandparents, moms, and dads. Since then, the story has become one of the most beloved childhood books. And it's no wonder! Ellie's fairytale journey with her faithful little dog Toto, incredible adventures, amazing encounters, and so much more will not allow readers to put the book down until they turn the very last page.
