Spring

"Spring" is the first book in the series, and it includes two fairy tales: "The Birthday That Went According to Plan" and "The Little Seed's Big Journey." In the first story, dreamy elephant calf Bo meets nimble mouse Felix on the street, and both realize they want to be friends. But how do you become friends? For example, you could eat a peck of salt together or share joy. The elephant calf's birthday is coming soon, and the mouse decides to arrange a concert, a pie, balloons, and a surprise for him! The birthday goes according to plan, and Bo suddenly realizes that joy grows when you share it with someone. In the second fairy tale, the friends plant a seed, care for it, and water it. First, Bo rejoices at the huge flower, then Felix rejoices at the round fruit. And then the whole town rejoices at the enormous pumpkin, which was enough to feed everyone! The characters in artist Alena Chernaya's kind and cheerful stories are never bored, and miracles happen to them in the most ordinary places: at home, on the street, in the park. Recommended for reading aloud to children aged three and up.
