Imperfection: bent at bottom

Five young Muscovites gather to visit a remote monastery near the remote village of Topi. They are all fleeing the capital to escape their troubles—some have been abandoned by their fiancés, others are fleeing their ex-husbands, and yet another is dying of cancer—and they hope to find help, answers, or simply a place to hide for a while at the monastery. However, the monastery turns out to be abandoned, people are constantly disappearing in the area, and the locals are behaving strangely. When one of the newcomers also vanishes without a trace, the others decide to stay and do whatever it takes to get to the truth, no matter how impossible it may prove.
