Insider-Outsider. A Metaphor of Belonging. Metaphorical Associative Cards (MAC)

The set includes:
- 64 image cards (artist - Anna Arianova);
- 32 narrow cards with numbers and mathematical symbols;
- instructions.

"Us-Them" is a set of metaphorical cards designed to work with experiences caused by the desire to belong to a particular community, rejection by significant people, or the need to live in contact with people who are alien in values.

The cards depict representatives of several "families". People from the same family do not belong to one community and find themselves in different situations: sometimes they do the same thing together, sometimes they argue and disagree with each other, sometimes they meet members of other families in the same space, or, conversely, find themselves surrounded exclusively by their own kind.

Using this set, one can explore how a particular person's "us-them-other" recognition system is structured, how they organize life in different communities, and how this life can be changed. This is especially interesting to do by using the cards with numbers and mathematical symbols.

In the instructions, you will find a psychological analysis of problems related to the experience of belonging, a brief summary of possible directions of work, and a description of specific psychological procedures using the cards from the deck.
