The set includes 64 picture cards (artist Anna Arianova), 32 narrow cards with numbers and mathematical symbols, and instructions. "Friend-Foe" is a set of metaphorical cards designed to address experiences caused by the desire to belong to a particular community, rejection by significant others, or the need to live in contact with value-strapped individuals. The cards depict representatives of several "families." People from the same family do not belong to any one community and find themselves in different situations: sometimes they work together, sometimes they argue and disagree, sometimes they meet with members of other families in the same space, or, conversely, they find themselves surrounded exclusively by their own kind. Using this set, one can explore how a specific person's system of recognizing "friend-foe-other" works, how they organize their life in different communities, and how this life can be changed. This is especially interesting to do using cards with numbers and mathematical symbols. The instructions include a psychological analysis of issues related to the experience of belonging, a brief outline of possible areas of work, and a description of specific psychological procedures using the cards in the deck.
