This collection presents M. Yu. Lermontov's most famous poetic works, spanning various genres of his work. Among them are the poem "Borodino," dedicated to the Patriotic War with Napoleon, love lyrics, philosophical reflections, and passionate civic poems. In addition to the poems, the edition includes long poems, including the romantic "Demon" and "Mtsyri," steeped in the atmosphere of the Caucasus, as well as "The Song of Tsar Ivan Vasilyevich, the Young Oprichnik, and the Daring Merchant Kalashnikov."
