The King's New Clothes

Cunning swindlers can deceive anyone, even a king, but not a little boy. Children don't know how to pretend and say what they see, even if it's an emperor with no clothes. The illustrations for H.C. Andersen's fairy tale "The Emperor's New Clothes" were drawn by Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Nika Goltz. In 2005, the artist received the Silver Medal of the Academy of Arts for her illustrations to H.C. Andersen's fairy tales, and a year later she was awarded the H.C. Andersen Diploma by the International Board on Books for Young People.
