.Lindy found a ventriloquist dummy and named him Slappy. He's far from handsome, but he's a lot of fun. Lindy has a great time making Slappy move and talk. But her sister Kris resents the fact that all attention is now on Lindy. It's not fair. Why does Lindy always have all the luck? Kris decides to get her own doll. She'll show Lindy!
.And then strange things start to happen in the house. Bad things. Creepy things. But a wooden dummy can't be the cause of all the trouble. Or can it?
