The year goes like this: a crisp spring gives way to a sultry summer, followed by a tawny autumn. And then comes the most magical time of year—winter. The authors of this collection—S. Marshak, S. Mikhalkov, A. Barto, E. Karganova, M. Druzhinina, and many others—have written children's stories and poems dedicated to winter and the miracles that typically occur around New Year's. Illustrations by S. Bordyug and N. Trepenok, A. Martynov, D. Lapshina, E. Katysheva, and others. For children under 3.
