The famous children's writer Valentin Postnikov is the son of Yuri Druzhkov, author of the captivating fairy tale novellas "The Adventures of Pencil and Handy" and "The Magic School of Pencil and Handy." As a child, he loved listening to books about his favorite characters, and when he grew up, he began writing educational fairy tales about new adventures of the little magicians. The friendly team from the Magic School embarks on a space journey. The mysteries of the distant Moon beckon them. Handy, the iron master, has built a marvelous "Drindolët" that is impervious to meteorite storms. But the troublesome villains are not sleeping: the pirate Bul-Bul and the spy Dyirka. They have decided to become space pirates and hijack the wonder ship.
