For a century and a half, not only literary scholars but also philosophers, cultural experts, sociologists, and theologians have been debating the great Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky. The writer's worldwide fame was determined by five novels: "Crime and Punishment," "The Idiot," "Demons," "The Adolescent," and "The Brothers Karamazov." However, other works are no less interesting and can be called an overture to the great Pentateuch, as they laid the foundation for Dostoevsky's agonizing reflections on "the mystery of man."
