The book "Dragons – Father and Son" includes three stories about a charming little dragon named Ogonyok and his stern dragon father: "Dragons – Father and Son", "The Dragon in Love", and "The Working Dragon".
A little dragon named Ogonyok lives with his father in a cave located in the heart of a mountain valley. According to a centuries-old tradition, dragons are supposed to fly to the neighboring town and set human dwellings on fire, but Ogonyok isn't too fond of such an activity. Instead of burning down a couple of houses as his father instructs him, the little dragon gets to know the town's residents better, makes friends, and this drastically changes his and his dragon father's lives.
The trilogy by French writer Alexandre Lacroix, wittily illustrated by Ronan Badel and already translated into 12 languages, is one of the rare children's books whose plot revolves around the relationship between a child and their father. More often, the main parent of a child in children's literature is the mother, which is undoubtedly important. But fathers are unfairly pushed to the background. Well, the stories about the father and son dragons successfully compensate for this annoying imbalance.
Now fathers will also have "their own" book that they can read to their children before bedtime.
For children aged 4-8.
