About the game

In the card board game "Battle of Fairy Tales," you'll assemble the most powerful team of heroes from a variety of fairy tales. These could include magical animals, royalty, magical characters, and even monsters and villains! Each character has strengths and weaknesses in the form of unique abilities and numerical values. Heroes from the same fairy tale also work better together, so consider this when building your fairy tale team. Try to complete the third chapter of your adventures with the highest score and become the winner!

How to play?

As befits any fairy tale, this game is divided into chapters, in each of which you will perform certain actions.

Chapter I: First, each of you receives eight cards and chooses your heroes: place one card face down in front of you and pass the remaining cards to the person on your left. This process is repeated until each of you has seven cards in front of you. Place the eighth card in the box without looking at it. Then, each player takes their seven cards into their hands.

Chapter II: This chapter features seven competitions. You take turns choosing one character from your hand and playing it, trying to win the bet (or lose). The player with the highest value on their card wins the bet, receiving star tokens. Afterward, everyone activates the effects of the characters they played to earn additional rewards.

Chapter III: In the final chapter, you evaluate your team's strength by re-applying the effects of cards played in Chapter II. Everyone receives victory point tokens if they successfully fulfill the conditions required by certain cards. Then, whoever has collected the most emerald tokens receives 4 additional emeralds. In the event of a tie, all players with the same number of tokens receive these additional emeralds.

Who won?

Calculate your victory points: stars earned from tricks are worth 2 points, while emeralds from card effects are worth 1 victory point only for each of their pairs. Choose your team wisely based on your strategy: do you want high-value characters to always win tricks, or do you want to neglect their value in favor of strong effects and card pairing? Whatever your strategy, the winner is the one who earns the most points at the end of the game.
