Six beloved children's fairy tales, including "Little Red Riding Hood," "The Three Little Pigs," "Jack and the Beanstalk," and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," — retold by the master storyteller, Roald Dahl, — from the villain's point of view!
Did you think Cinderella married the prince and they lived happily ever after? Read it again. Sometimes it's useful to look at a familiar story through the eyes of the Big Bad Wolf, for example.
This book of poems (yes, indeed!) by Roald Dahl was first published in English in 1982, and only in 2019 was it first published in Russian, translated by the writer, poet, and renowned translator of English absurd poetry, Evgeny Klyuev.
Roald Dahl's witty, provocative "Revolting Rhymes" have already become a classic of children's literature in the UK (like Dahl's other books); in 2016, an animated adaptation was released on the BBC, and in 2017, this cartoon was even nominated for an Oscar.
