Alanna. The beginning of the journey

And what a misfortune it was for Alanna of Trebond to be born a girl! It's hard when you dream of becoming a knight, but instead you're learning magic, singing, and dancing. Alanna's twin brother, Tom, on the other hand, wants to master the arts of magic and become a powerful sorcerer. One day, the two decide to switch places: Tom goes to a monastery to study magic, and Alanna, disguised as a boy, goes to the royal palace to serve as a page. But becoming a knight isn't easy. Before she can fight, Alanna must learn not only how to wield a sword properly but also how to distinguish between friend and foe. Only by traversing a thorny path of victories and defeats, adventures and intrigues, and facing both good and evil, will Alanna be able to realize her dreams and achieve glory.
