Zhukova's ABC book (mini)
The most basic and most widespread version of the primer, edited by Nadezhda Zhukova. We also learned to read using this system. It is still used in Russian schools and kindergartens. The letters are not arranged alphabetically, but as they are used. First, the most common vowels, a few consonants, moving on to syllables and the first independent words. “Ma-ma we-la ra-mu” - that’s where it comes from.
